They are sun dried and have a natural look and feel. This white tea of optimal quality consists of two leaves and a bud, the best in terms of plucking practices by tea gardens. Teas plucked between January and April in the Coonoor district produce best quality made tea. The process of making white tea which has immense health benefits is the most meticulous task in tea manufacture.  Therefore this is a prized white tea to add to your collection of single estate teas.

The tea is pleasantly floral, smooth textured, light on the palate which seems to aptly pamper the senses. The fragrance of Nilgiri mountain flora is dominant in the liquor which lingers for a while after the first sip. The liquor is light yellow with a gentle greenish flavor typical to the clone.  A delicate refreshing drink true to the “NILGIRIS” which is so light that one can enjoy a few cups at one time.

Brewing Instructions

Add half a teaspoon of this tea per cup into a tea pot and add freshly boiled water. Let it brew for 3 minutes. The leaves will settle down at the bottom of the pot and you can pour the tea in to your tea cups. The same leaves can be brewed 2-3 times to continue enjoying the tea.
